This project started as a space with a ton of potential, with the existing brick wall serving as the structured framework. The covered patio was added which impeded the footprint further. Each space was carefully planned, and offered many moments of hide and reveal. We placed an L-Shape Bonfire kitchen behind the fireplace, outfitted with Lynx Appliances and granite countertop. The client sought an elegant dining space. Her maple tree was transplanted and a new custom brick planter was built into the wall. The fountain head her husband originally installed was brought back to life and a fountain basin was added. Lush side paths were planted with Fatsia, hostas and ferns. Many of her planters and sculptures were repurposed in the space. KFiles Design provided all furnishings.
